I am all about low maintenance. Like the least I can do the better. Guys I am lazy - really freaking lazy so I keep my hair routine methodic but as simple as possible.

Heres the breakdown

01. HYDRATION COCKTAILS + THE HAIR OIL YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED IN YOUR LIFE

Twice a week, the night before I wash my hair I'll apply a hydration cocktail. This hair oil has changed my hair and my skin. It's became my favorite go to product.

I apply one dropper of oil to my scalp - good scalp health is essential for hair growth. I'll then add 4-5 pumps of leave-in, 4-5 pumps of rejuvabeads (split-end mender) and another dropper of oil into the palm of my hand + rub together. I'll comb through, strands to the ends, and throw it all in a topknot and go to sleep. I was really worried my first use because every other oil I've ever used gets EVERYWHERE, not this stuff! It absorbs into your hair + scalp (like a liquid vitamin) and will never transfer to your clothes, pillowcases, or sheets, ever!

Protip: apply a small amount to your face + lips at night. It even use it on my ezema!

02. SHAMPOO+CONDITIONER

I use this shampoo + conditioner regularly. I wash TWICE every time! For my first wash I've been using this shampoo. This wash lifts all the junk of your hair, and doesn't lather. This is normal, so if you've been using any of these products and you're curious don't stress out you're not doing anything wrong - unless you're not washing twice. The second shampoo rinses it all away. The magic is in the suds guys, depending on how many days I go between washing and how much dry shampoo is on my scalp, I may need to wash a third time before conditioning.

03. HYDRATION MASQUE

Once a week, I even sometimes I add to my hydration cocktails! This hair masque is my favorite. We have hard water at the house and my hair gets so dry and frizzy, using this masque has been a game changer for me! Squeeze your hair out as much as you can before applying your masque to help with absorption. Use a nickel to quarter sized amount of conditioner after rinsing out the masque to help seal your cuticle.

04. NOW LETS TALK POST SHOWER ROUTINE

I believe that my post-shower routine is just as important as my in-shower routine. A few months ago I started applying this leave-in conditioner to my towel dried hair (to my ends only) After applying I use this heat protectant before blow drying. Its a non-silicone based heat protectant, which is huge for keeping my strands free of any buildup. If i'm not this air dry cream if I'm not using heat that day.

05. PRODUCTS I LOVE

  • Purchase a silk pillowcase! Jaimie Hill has the best and they're even on sale right now! You hair will thank you.
  • Get a wet brush. Your hair is at its most delicate when wet. A wet brush will cause less breakage.
  • The less you wash your hair the better. Grab a good sulfate free dry shampoo. This is my favorite and it gives you amazing volume!
  • This is my go to curling wand right now! Plus theres an awesome mothers day sale going on as we speak.
